Paganistan Weekly; November 22-28

Hopefully you enjoyed a blessed full moon. The next full moon will also be Yule, so that should be a very interesting evening. People are already scheduling events, and making plans.

Geek Partnership has a community center. It’s been open for a while, but it’s been difficult getting information about it because the people in charge of it are kind of geeky. But it’s there! 1121 Jackson St NE, Suite 106, Minneapolis, MN 55413 http://www.geekpartnership.org/ Let’s face it, a whole lot of people reading this are geeky so a geek community center is very relevant.

About once a month, a recipient of the Paganistan newsletter accuses the newsletter of spamming them. The newsletter goes out to about 3000 people, so it’s a fairly low percentage, however it’s still good to clear this up. Most of the complaints come from Facebook where this newsletter is sent out to the members of the Twin Cities Pagans group. The description of the group says, “This group is the primary distribution point for Paganistan Weekly, the local newsletter for the Twin Cities Pagan community. Every week the members of this group are kept in the loop about local Pagan events and news.” This is not unsolicited spam. This is a service.

The Coven of The Standing Stones are starting a new round of Seeker Classes. They are Held at: Magus Books and Herbs most Friday nights at 6:30 pm. This Friday is a great opportunity to get started. These are really wonderful classes which start this Friday with “What is Paganism”. If you have ever considered attending seeker classes, you owe it to yourself to check this out.

The new Harry Potter movie opens Friday! Okay, it’s not actually Pagan, but come-on, chances are that you’re going to see it.

There’s a new item on the calendar; the Healing Loft Sampler Night. Every Thursday The Healing Loft has Psychics and Healers available. They tend to rotate so that every Thursday has a somewhat different line-up. You can check them out at 2112 Broadway St. NE, Suite 230-250, Minneapolis, MN

We promote a community experience and focus our energy on providing a unique spiritual experience.  You can obtain information about becoming a member of Harmony Tribe and join at the M&G. We will have information about submitting art work for consideration for the 2011 festival.

What brings us together:

While many among us explore diverse and various Pagan religious paths including Shamanism, Wicca and other Earth-based and Earth-friendly beliefs, we all share the same common ground philosophically and spiritually. Come and experience creating something beyond yourself: the building of a tribal community! We welcome all who embrace nature spirituality in some form. Acceptance is our desire; tolerance, respect and love is our rule.

St Cloud Pagan Community Meeting Sat, Nov. 13th

The members of the St Cloud Pagan community (yes we are here) are coming together for a meeting on Saturday November the 13 from 3-5 at the Saint Cloud Unitarian Universalist Fellowship,3226 Maine Prairie Road, Saint Cloud, MN. We are hoping to meet new people and create a community here like the great folks of the Twin Cities have. We would love to see new faces of those great folks who are in St. Cloud and the surrounding area. It would be great if PNC could give us a hand in letting people know. We would certainly appreciate it. It is a potluck lunch to get to know one another, and share a few laughs, as well as get down to the business of bringing this community.
Sincerely Yours
Carissa Olson
